detoxify (soulfully)

Formally, the term implicates a medical treatment of intoxication or rid the body from impurities and poisonous substances. The common way is taking in healthy and cleansing stuff for a period of time. Basically, a good diet.

I like to use the word symbolically. As in this world, many things around are free and easy to take in. You can talk With anyone and if not careful, you get yourself into thoughts that are'nt pure and healthy. Apparently, we need to detoxicate our soul starting with the mind. One thought can lead to bad decisions and actions. One thought can control and drive someone to be illogical. It is obvious to get intoxicated easily because we are close to sources from online and reading which is a click and grab away. And we do allow them to come in, thinking that it won't destroy us.

Sometimes i let myself linger on being intoxicated and hold junks. Even too slow to get out. Unknowingly, the devil uses it until you drown. You get choked on cares of this world and other pleasures of this life. It poisons you and you lose your appetite on His word and even taking time on talking to Him and know His perfect will. We forget His promises and preferred to follow the worldly belief.

Detoxify. Cleanse Your thoughts, doubts and priorities. I usually think that it's healthy to plan by myself, thinking too much. The moment i start praying, i literally feel light and see clearer. Basically, depending on the One higher. It's a struggle to sit down and pray and read because you sometimes rather finish your chores, or being entertained with movies or shows and get updated with occurences and live fast-pace worldly.

The more you detoxify, the clearer you discover more of your calling. You are in good ground to receive what He has prepared for you. Less worries, more joy, contentment and peace. Peace that the world can't give. You become more grateful. You see direction and purpose. You feel safer and you allign yourself right. You are reminded of Your source of everything you need, not only for temporal but for eternal… ;)
